Jamie Oliver competition - terms and conditions
1.  Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2.  The promoter is British Airways, Level 7, 141 Walker Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060, Australia, ACN 74725650354 ('Promoter').
3.  The promotion commences at 12.01am (Sydney time) on 21 August 2006 and ends at 12.30pm (Sydney time) on 28 September 2006 ('Promotion Period').
4.  Entry is open only to New South Wales residents aged 18 years or over ('Eligible Entrants'). Directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and their related bodies corporate are not eligible to enter this promotion.
5.  To enter Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, visit the online competition page at www.ba.com/jamieoliver, register and complete the entry form, including their name, contact number and email address.
6.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity in order to claim their prize.
7.  The First Draw to win tickets to the Jamie Oliver Live Shows in Sydney 13-14 September 2006 will take place at 5.30pm on 8 September 2006 ('Draw Date') at the offices of British Airways, Level 7, 141 Walker Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.
8.  The Second Draw to win tickets to London, including accommodation and dinner at Fifteen in London, will take place at 5.30pm on 29 September 2006 ('Draw Date') at the offices of British Airways, Level 7, 141 Walker Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060.
9.  The result of the Draws are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by phone and email within two days of the Draw dates, using the details provided in the entry form.
10.  The first 10 Eligible Entrants in Sydney in the First Draw will win a pair of tickets to see the Jamie Oliver Live Show in Sydney on one of the following dates: 13 and 14 September 2006. One ticket is valued at $95. Total prize value $1,900.00.
11.  The first Eligible Entrant drawn from all valid entries by the Second Draw will win a holiday including two return World Traveller tickets (including all surcharges, fees and taxes from Sydney to London) valued at $2,560 each, and five nights accommodation in a British Airways Holidays partner hotel in London, valued at $1,210 (based on rates per person at the Hyde Park Paddington), plus dinner for two at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Fifteen in London. Total prize value at time of publication is AUD$6,830.00.
12.  All travel must be completed by 31 June 2007. Airfares and accommodation must be used at the same time. Tickets are available on British Airways operated flights only and are subject to availability. The prizewinner must hold a valid passport / visa.
13.  Prize does not include hotel incidentals, medication / medical expenses, transport to and from residence to capital city airport. Travel insurance is not included but is strongly recommended.
14.  Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash.
15.  The Promoter and their related bodies corporate, officers, employees, contractors and agents, and all other suppliers of prizes, will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16.  The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize.
17.  If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
18.  If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
19.  Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and photograph of the winners may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless a winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting their prize. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using and disclosing to its agents, contractors and entities associated with this promotion personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes.
