Ibiza tips

Our Ibiza hints and tips will have you feeling like a local in no time.

When to tip

In Ibiza tipping is not mandatory; but because tourists frequent the area, tipping is often expected for good service. When you dine in a restaurant, a 10% tip will suffice. For drinks at the bar, simply round up the price. Include tips for taxi drivers, your hotel cleaners and additional hotel staff in your budget.

Free attractions

There is always a beach to enjoy in Ibiza. Swimming and sandy beach strolls aside, you can also make your way to the old Ibiza Town. Here you can wander through the narrow, cobbled streets and admire the medieval architecture without spending a cent.

Weather in Ibiza

Ibiza’s summer lasts from May until October. The weather is warmest from June – September, and highs peak over 30°C in July and August. You will want to pack a light jacket in May, June and September. Come winter (November to April), the average daytime temperature sits at 15°C, although it can climb to 25°C.
