From Sunday 25 March 2012, all Iberia flights operating between London Heathrow and Madrid will depart from and arrive into
London Heathrow Terminal 5.

Following the merger between British Airways and Iberia to form International Airlines Group, we are working together to offer customers the best possible network of services and flight connections. 

Iberia's move into Terminal 5 in March will mean that there are 13 flights a day between London Heathrow Terminal 5 and Madrid Barajas, allowing customers to enjoy two of the most modern airport terminals in Europe.

 

The move will take place overnight on 24 March 2012. From 25 March all Iberia's flights between London and Madrid will operate to and from Heathrow Terminal 5.

 

From Sunday 25 March, the eight daily flights operated by Iberia between London Heathrow and Madrid will depart from Heathrow Terminal 5. These flights will have a British Airways flight number but will continue to be operated by Iberia. 

British Airways' seating and baggage policies will apply on these flights.

Iberia's pay on board policy for food and refreshments will continue to apply for customers travelling in Economy. Business class customers will receive complimentary refreshments and food on board.

 

Iberia flights from Madrid will arrive into Terminal 5 from 25 March. They will continue to operate with an Iberia flight number and Iberia's procedures and policies will continue to apply.

There will be no changes to British Airways flights from Madrid to Heathrow.

 

Customers who booked through British Airways can check in online at ba.com from 24 hours before departure. 

Customers who booked through Iberia can use Iberia.com for online check-in. 

All customers can check in at Terminal 5 using the Self Service Check-in Kiosks or check-in desks.
