Whilst in Edinburgh's Old Town, we recommend a visit to Holyroodhouse. The palace here is a royal residence and hosts the Queens Gallery - a small sample of art from the Royal Collection.

The Sir Walter Scott Monument is also popular with those staying in our hotels. Opened in 1846, some 14 years after the famous writer's death, the monument is 200 feet high and offers panoramic views of the city.
