The Sir Walter Scott Monument is also popular with those staying in our hotels. Opened in 1846, some 14 years after the famous writer's death, the monument is 200 feet high and offers panoramic views of the city.

Shopping in Edinburgh is a delight. The friendly staff in our hotels can direct you to the main retail areas. Edinburgh has a good mix of designer boutiques and brand name fashion shops, plus plenty of souvenir stores in the town centre and along The Royal Mile.
