Hotels in Amsterdam

Reflection of Amsterdam buildings.

Capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is a friendly city with pretty architecture and criss-crossed by the famous network of canals. With very few hills, it's an easy place to explore on foot or by bicycle - and there is a rich culture and history to discover. Nearly all Amsterdam locals speak excellent English, too, so you'll have no problems getting around.

Take a look at our hotels in Amsterdam. Our hotels in the city range from 2-5* - so there's something ideal for your budget. We have hotels spread all over Amsterdam city centre and some by Amsterdam airport, too. Choose whichever of our hotels in Amsterdam suits you best.

Most of our hotels in Amsterdam offer bed and breakfast accommodation, while some serve a continental breakfast with your board. You will find great restaurants at our 4 and 5 * hotels in Amsterdam. Alternatively, head out into the city and enjoy a traditional Dutch breakfast of pastries and cold meats.

We recommend starting your sightseeing with a visit to one of the many museums in the city. The Van Gogh Museum and Rembrandthuis are both memorable, as are the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the huge Rijksmuseum. Staff in our hotels will be able to give you directions to each one.

We love discovering Amsterdam's history out from one of our hotels. The Royal Palace and Anne Frank House are essential destinations. We also love the Amsterdam History Museum. For some more contemporary history, visit Nieuwe Kerk, used for the coronation of Queen Beatrix in 1980 and the wedding of crown prince Willem-Alexander to princess Maxima in 2002.

Avid shoppers staying in our hotels will be pleased to hear there's some great shopping in Amsterdam. The main areas for shops are the Leidsestraat, the Kalverstraat and Nieuwendijk. Large department stores are to be found near the Munt Tower and the Dam, while the PC Hooftstraat has the best boutique shops.

Although you'll get a breakfast in many of our hotels, when it comes to eating out in the evening you will be spoilt for choice. Amsterdam has over 1000 restaurants, serving everything from traditional Dutch pancakes to delicious world cuisine.
