Universal’s premier luxury hotel perfect for couples and families alike. Enjoy early park admission, complimentary transport and access to the Mandara Spa. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal is modelled on the Italian seaside resort of the same name, and is Universal's original on-site hotel, set on the shores of a lake. The Italian theme runs throughout the hotel, with a Roman aqueduct slide in the pool, Italian-style artwork and furnishings and regional cuisine in the restaurants. Strolling down cobblestone streets flanked by orange-stuccoed buildings with the sun shining and the sound of lapping water, the surroundings are not unlike continental Europe. There are three swimming pools to choose from as well as jogging and bicycle paths and an excellent fitness centre. The Mandara Spa offers everything from relaxing massages to saunas and steams, payable locally. In addition, guests can enjoy special rates and tee times at some of the areas finest golf courses.
