One of the most popular resort islands, representing great value for money. The extensive facilities at your disposal makes this resort perfect for families. This large island resort has over 1.5km of white sand beach and is surrounded by a wide, gently shelving, shallow lagoon. The warm turquoise waters and sandy seabed makes it ideal for water sports enthusiasts and provides excellent snorkelling opportunities. Located in the north Male Atoll, Meeru Island Resort is just 55 minutes from the airport by speedboat. Arrive at the islnad's jetty and step on to an island paradise. Guest rooms are footsteps from unspoilt white sands and feature private patios equipped with furniture, so you can take in the views. The huge range of facilities makes the resort perfect for families. There are two fresh water swimming pools and a smaller childrens pool. You can also take advantage of two floodlit tennis courts, a golf driving range, putting green and nine hole pitch and putt golf course and beach volleyball courts. Petanque, bicycle rentals and a soccer pitch are all available, plus much more.
