The Accra Beach Hotel and Spa enjoys a great location next to a wide sandy beach on the south coast of the island. The airport is about a 20 minute drive away, making transfers easy. A good selection of bars, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. The Chakra Spa provides pampering, using products by Sothys of Paris and organic local products, enjoy a nail beauty by O.P.I. Dermalogica is used for skincare, with treatments available in rooms too, for a local fee. Let the Spa Ambassador pick a perfect treatment to help you relax while on holiday here. For nightclubs and restaurants, St Lawrence Gap is about 10 minutes away and offers a good variety of night life. The Accra Beach Hotel and Spa has 224 rooms, all of which have a private terrace or balcony. High speed internet access is available in all accommodations. Other features enjoyed by some of the suites include a stunning bathroom, LCD TV and a Jacuzzi on the balcony. The hotel's restaurants include The Fig Tree which serves casual meals al fresco, and the romantic Coco Patch which offers ocean views and Caribbean dishes. The Wytukai is the island's only Polynesian Restaurant. The lovely, large pool area includes a swim up bar. It is also the focus for a regular Barbecue and Floor Show. This includes a live band, a floor show of authentic culture and folklore, fire-eating, stilt walking and limbo dancing. Other entertainment includes the Manager's Cocktail Party, where guests are invited for rum and fruit punches, prize draws and steel pan music. In addition to the great pool, there is a small selection of water sports. There is also a complimentary gym. The hotel also has an arrangement for guests to play golf at Barbados Golf course, which is about 15 minutes away.
