With amazing views overlooking the world-famous Crane Beach, this fully equipped resort blends old and new and offers free WiFi and long distance calls. This was the Caribbean's first resort hotel. It was built in 1887 and blends old world charm with continuously updated and refurbished quality. With a broad selection of accommodation that ranges from junior suites to penthouse suites, The Crane has something for everyone. Perched on a cliff, overlooking the breakers of the Atlantic Ocean and the soft pink sand of Crane Beach, this location is as breathtaking as it is romantic. In the Seaview rooms, cooling breezes and the sound of rolling waves will help you relax completely. The beach has been described by ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ as one of the ten best beaches in the world. Steps lead directly down the cliff from the hotel to the shore. A lift is also available down to the beach, although many guests feel that the stunning pool area is the place to spend their days. In addition to the hotel's many general access pools, guests who stay in the private residences and villas may enjoy their own personal infinity or plunge pool. The luxurious suites located in this accommodation feature either hardwood or stone tiled floors. Handcrafted four-poster beds and mahogany furniture add to the sense of luxury. Mini-kitchens make life easy and marble bathrooms, complete with spa showers and Jacuzzi baths, are guaranteed to enhance your feeling of indulgence. Free internet access is available throughout the hotel and there are also internet terminals in the lobby. Serenity Spa, located in the historic building offers a range of beauty and massage treatments to reinvigorate and relax the body. The Crane Village is a picturesque market square offering a range of shops, including a department store, boutique, art gallery, gift shop and convenience store. The gym is also located at the village and offers state of the art cardio equipment.
