Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island

Complete with two beaches, wonderful facilities and excellent service, it's an island hideaway providing the ultimate setting for romantic couples. Luxury is everywhere at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island and the resort facilities are superb. There are seven pools, including a freshwater pool with swim up bar, six whirlpools, waterfalls, a misting pool and water sports. There are eight bars serving unlimited drinks. Sandals offers a poolside and beach side cocktail service so sip a tall glass as you laze by the water. The Red Lane Spa offers European style treatments infused with a distinctive Caribbean flair and utilising renowned botanical products. More than half the resort is comprised of suites, all appointed with the finest designer details and the latest in state of the art technology. The Poinciana and Plumbago Villas (which house the Royal Village Honeymoon Villa Suites) have been renovated, the rooms have been re-carpeted or re-tiled, new furnishings have been added including new 42 flat screen TV's. The top-tier suites feature personal butlers and a Rolls Royce airport service while a suite at the Royal Village offers a secluded romantic retreat away from the bustle of the main resort. From the five-star French chic of The Baccarat to the authentic flavours of Northern Italy in Ristorante Casanova, there's a superb range of fine dining. For cuisine that's dramatic in flavour and preparation try the Teppanyaki-style Kimonos, and for masterpiece dining served in white-gloved splendour, there's The Crystal Room with its stunning period chandelier. For a more casual experience you can sample the delights of the Bahamian Cafe Goobay, The Royal Cafe Grill or The Cricketer's Pub.

PLEASE NOTE Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island is a couples only resort. No under 18s are permitted. A dress code is now in place for dinner in all of the hotel's restaurants. Sleeveless shirts for men and beachwear are no longer allowed. Long trousers must be worn by gentlemen. Sandals Cay will now be open between 10am and 7pm. Boat trips are hourly between 10 am and 6pm. The last boat trip to the Cay is at 6pm. The island will feature an all day menu (starting at 11:30 am) with the bar being open until 6 pm.
