Madame Tussauds London will be transformed with the sparkle of Christmas, between Tuesday November 26 2013 and Monday January
6 2014, with over 500 metres of garlands, 20 Christmas trees and
100,000 sparkling LED lights. Meet Father Christmas’s wax likeness in his magical
sleigh setting, complete with his entertaining elves.
Following the release of the latest Bond installment, Skyfall, Madame Tussauds has given the movie’s two headline stars a makeover. Daniel Craig and Judi Dench have been redressed and moved to a revamped set, which is dominated by the iconic 007 logo.
Walk down the red carpet and strike a pose with the Beckhams, or replicate the 'lightning bolt' pose next to new addition Usain Bolt. Start your royal experience with an audience with the Queen, before turning to the younger generation and plant a kiss on Prince William’s cheek.
In the interactive music zone you won't be able to miss international superstar Lady Gaga. The figure is featured standing centre stage wearing the gigantic Philip Treacy telephone hat, recreated especially for the attraction by the world famous milliner. The ABBA waxworks replicate their 'SOS' music video from 1975, with stunning extravagant clothing of the time.
For the brave, get face-to-face with scary serial killers in our live fear experience SCREAM. After a sneaky behind-the-scenes look at how our World-renowned sculptors create the figures, relax in our taxis and relive the rich history of London.
Then step up to your favourite Marvel Super Heroes, before getting ready to experience the spectacular and exclusive Marvel Super Heroes 4D movie, complete with high impact special effects, screened in Madame Tussauds’ famous domed auditorium. It will be a full surround, totally immersive 360 degree presentation where our Marvel Super Heroes battle it out to save London from impending doom.
Last year Madame Tussauds London asked guests which heart-throb leading man they would most like to set their pulses racing and now their wishes have come true with a brand new wax figure of the man who topped the hot list – veteran A-list action star Bruce Willis. Willis beat off competition from younger rivals including Jake Gyllenhaal and Jude Law. The new attraction for 2013 offers you the chance to sit and pose with one of our latest guests, Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney.
Oscar winning British singer Adele also joined the experience in July 2013, dressed to mirror her 2012 Grammys performance. Adele joins a dream line up of A-list female artists in the world famous attraction, including Beyonce, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears.
Get a picture with the late singer Whitney Houston while she is in London, exclusively on loan from New York. Inspired by the singer's 2009 'I look to you' comeback album, with her arms outstreched, it is available until mid December. The internationally renowned singer is presented at her glamourous best with an elegant full length gold dress.
