Flights to Venice
British Airways has regular flights to Venice Marco Polo Airport on the mainland, just under eight miles north of Venice. Not long after Venice flights land you'll be gazing up at the spires and domes of Venice's Byzantine St Mark's Basilica. Stretch your legs after flights with a stroll around Venice's arcaded S Mark's Square; then follow the maze of tiny alleyways leading to Venice's palace-lined Grand Canal.
Travel to/from central Venice

Or take the longer, more scenic ferry route to Venice via Murano island, the Venice Lido and the Arsenale, site of Venice's medieval shipyard.
