British Airways has regular flights to Naples International Airport. Flights to
Naples land in Capodichino, four miles north-east of central Naples. Not long
after your Naples flight lands, you can be strolling around Spaccanapoli,
Naples' historic heart or planning a daytrip by ferry from Naples to the nearby
island of Capri. For dinner after your Naples flight, try authentic pizzerias in
central Naples, where pizza was born, or seafood pasta at restaurants by the waterfront
in Santa Lucia.
Travel to/from central Naples
After leaving your flight to Naples you can catch a bus every 20 or 30 minutes
to Naples' city centre. Buses take you to Piazza Garibaldi square
near Naples' train station or Piazza Municipio near Castel
Nuovo (New Castle). The trip into Naples takes around 30 minutes and the
buses stop outside Naples International Airport's Flight Arrivals
concourse. You'll also find taxis waiting outside the airport after
your Naples flights land.
Best of Naples
Stretch your legs after flights to Naples and take a walk through the historic
quarter, Spaccanapoli, all the way to Naples' waterfront at Santa
Lucia. Snap photos of Naples' Castel dell'Ovo (Egg
Castle), standing sentinel over the Gulf of Naples, and Castel Nuovo with its
impressive round towers. Before you catch your flight from Naples, shop for a
beautifully handcrafted Nativity scene on Via San Gregorio Armeno in
Spaccanapoli or cameo and coral jewellery. Take home designer accessories from
Via Calabritto and Southern Italian painted ceramics from
Naples' Galleria Umberto I shopping arcade.
