British Airways operates frequent flights to Lyon. Lyon flights touch down at Lyon-St
Exupéry Airport, 15 miles south-east of central Lyon. British Airways
has direct London flights from Lyon. Take a bus or taxi and arrive in central Lyon just
40 minutes after your Lyon flights. Check out works by Picasso, Matisse and Bacon at
Musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon fine arts museum. Or take a flight in
a funicular to admire the views from atop Lyon's Fourvière
Hill.
Travel to/from central Lyon
After your flight to Lyon, catch the fast, inexpensive Satobus shuttle into
Lyon, leaving every 15-20 minutes from the bus station between the two terminals.
It's cheaper to buy a round-trip ticket for your return flight from Lyon.
The journey to Lyon Part-Dieu railway station takes 40-50 minutes. This stop is
convenient for interchange with Lyon trams, city buses and metro. If you prefer a

traboules passageways of the arty Croix-Rousse district.
It's worth doing some shopping before your return flight from Lyon. Look
for fine silks, food specialities and stylish fashions.
