British Airways operates frequent flights to Luxembourg. Your flights to Luxembourg
arrive at Luxembourg-Findel Airport, three and a half miles north-east of the
city centre. There is good road access into Luxembourg; after your flight, buses and
taxis get you to central Luxembourg in just a few minutes. After your flight to
Luxembourg, stretch your legs with a stroll around the lively Old Town with its
scenic views.
Travel to/from central Luxembourg
After your flight to Luxembourg, catch the Eurobus shuttle bus direct to
Luxembourg from outside the Arrivals hall at Luxembourg-Findel Airport. The shuttle
bus departs every 15 minutes and takes you to Luxembourg's Kirchberg
quarter in about ten minutes (leaving a short walk across a bridge to the Old
Town). It terminates at Luxembourg's main railway station in the
modern town after 20-30 minutes. If you prefer to go by taxi after your
flight to Luxembourg, they wait outside Arrivals.
Best of Luxembourg
After your flights to Luxembourg, take in the scenic setting of Luxembourg's
fortified Old Town. Join Luxembourg locals relaxing at cafe tables on
place Guillaume II and place d'Armes squares. Visit the
Bock promontory and walk the Chemin de la Corniche for stunning
views over Luxembourg. In summer, visit Luxembourg's imposing
Grand-Ducal Palace. Do some quality shopping for your flight home, with
upmarket family firms selling Luxembourg specialities like luxury chocolates or
elegant Moselle white wines. Take the opportunity for a daytrip from Luxembourg city
to the lovely Petite Suisse (Little Switzerland) hill country before your
flight home from Luxembourg.
