British Airways flights to London land at London City Airport as well as Gatwick and Heathrow Airports. London City Airport is ten miles east of London's West End so you can be shopping soon after your flight to London lands. Heathrow Airport is 15 miles west of London while Gatwick is 28 miles south of central London. Travel to/from central London

Your journey time to London depends on which airport your London flight lands at. The quickest way to central London from Gatwick is on the Gatwick Express trains, which leave every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes to reach London Victoria Station. Alternatively, take a regular train to King's Cross Station (50 minutes) or London Bridge Station (30 minutes). Heathrow Express trains leave every 15 minutes to and from London Paddington Station and takes about 30 minutes. The London Underground gets you into central London an hour after flights land. From London City Airport, it takes 30 minutes on the Dockland's Light Railway to an underground station. Taxis from all airports will get you easily to and from central London after flights touch down, but traffic jams are likely.
