British Airways flights to Dubrovnik land at Dubrovnik Airport at Čilipi, 11 miles
south-east of Dubrovnik city centre. After your flight, take a bus or a taxi to
Dubrovnik, asking for Pile Gate to arrive directly outside Dubrovnik's
fortified Old Town. Approaching Dubrovnik along the coastal road after your
flight, take in the unforgettable views over the fortifications and terracotta rooftops
of Dubrovnik's Old Town.
Travel to/from central Dubrovnik
After your flight to Dubrovnik Airport, take the Atlas shuttle bus into
central Dubrovnik. You can get off at Pile Gate (the main entrance to the Old
Town) or Dubrovnik Bus Station, near Gruž port. Atlas buses depart for
Dubrovnik after the arrival of every incoming flight. Alternatively, take a
post-flight taxi to reach Dubrovnik in roughly 25 minutes. If you plan to
tour Dalmatia, hire a car from one of several firms at Dubrovnik Airport.
Best of Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik's timeless world of centuries-old stone monuments protected by
medieval City Walls. But treat yourself to a few 21st-century comforts by
staying at one of Dubrovnik's chic design hotels and luxurious wellness
centres. Explore the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik's Old
Town, to see how Dubrovnik aristocracy once lived. Or visit the Maritime
Museum to understand how Dubrovnik survived as an independent republic for 450
years. For a peaceful day's bathing, head to Dubrovnik's nearby
Elafiti Islands. Before boarding your flight home, buy some Dalmatian
