Over the coming months we will begin our upgrade of First. Only the best designers and chefs have been asked to contribute their skills to create the ultimate First experience.
The words “To fly to serve” feature in the British Airways Coat of Arms and are even more relevant today. We’ve drawn on that heritage to refine all aspects of our First service.
Some of the introductions will be little touches like a beautiful hand-made water glass and well-being products from D.R. Harris, a quintessential British chemist and perfumer. While luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen and velvet seat cushion add to the comfort, making First feel more like staying in your favourite hotel.
Ultimately this level of detail will culminate in a luxurious new cabin and new seat, where our designers have taken their inspiration from the craftsmanship in the world's most prestigious vehicles.
As well as our formal dining service we’re introducing a more informal option to allow you to continue working or relaxing. There’s greater menu choice too, with a Bistro Selection including lighter snacks. Sleep lovers can even choose to enjoy a continental breakfast closer to landing time.
