Introducing the new First suite and cabin, we invite you to discover an enhanced experience onboard British Airways.

Taking on our customers’ feedback, we’ve designed an elegant and stylish environment featuring thoughtful and practical touches, such as:

• Unique personal windows, incorporating the first electronic blinds onboard a commercial aircraft that span two windows
• Seats that are 60% wider at the shoulder
• Your own wardrobe
• A distinctive lighting system, designed to recreate the subtlety of natural light throughout the day to help you feel at home when working, dining or simply relaxing.

Drift off to sleep

Should you decide you’re ready to sleep, you can slip into wonderfully soft cotton pyjamas and request our Turndown Service at any time of the day. We’ll make up your fully flat bed with a specially designed single–piece quilted mattress, crisp white 400–thread Egyptian cotton duvet and pillow to help you to drift off in comfort more blissfully than ever.

Wake up refreshed

When it’s time to freshen up, you can use our range of well–being products from D.R. Harris & Co., one of London’s longest established traditional pharmacies that only uses the finest natural ingredients. Products include e.g. eye gel, lip balm and moisturiser, all enclosed in a stylish Anya Hindmarch bag, exclusively designed for First.

In-seat power supply

Keep your electronic devices charged throughout the flight with your personal in-seat power supply compatible with a range of international plug types. (You will require an adaptor for aircraft that haven’t been fitted with new First yet. See our First page for details of operating routes.)

Available now on select routes

Experience the new First cabin on flights between London Heathrow and Lagos, New York JFK, Shanghai, Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo (subject to availability). The cabin design may vary on other routes but all other aspects of the first Experience remain the same, including access to exclusive lounges, top quality in-flight dining and premium service by our attentive cabin crew.
