Changes to the Executive Club in the Far East
- The Executive Club in the Far East is changing on 17 June 2008 and will no longer be linked with the Asia Miles programme.
- On 17 June 2008 you will automatically become a full member of the Executive Club and will be eligible for all benefits, including earning BA Miles instead of Asia Miles.
How will this change affect my membership?
You don't need to do anything as the change will take effect automatically on 17 June 2008. Your Asia Miles membership will still be valid so you can remain a member of both programmes if you choose.
Choosing between BA Miles and Asia Miles
Each time you fly you will need to decide which programme you want your miles to be awarded to, as miles can only be credited to one account.After the 17 June when quoting your Executive Club membership number you will automatically earn BA Miles and Tier Points for flown flights.
You can only quote one membership number when you book and you will not be able to transfer miles between the two programmes.

Additional tier bonuses
On top of the generous cabin bonuses you'll receive when you fly, you'll also earn BA Miles bonuses depending on your level of membership. For example, if you're a Silver Executive Club member, you'll earn an additional 25% bonus4 for flights travelled with British Airways or Qantas. So instead of 1 BA Mile for every mile flown, you'll receive 1.25 BA Miles3. And if you're a Gold Executive Club member, you'll earn a 50% bonus4 which means 1.5 BA Miles3 for every mile flown.Return to Top

You'll know how easy it is to manage your Executive Club account online. So naturally, it's very easy to manage your BA Miles online too.- You can book your reward flights1 with us and our airline partners5, including Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, directly online.
- There will be no forms to fill in and no waiting for a reply - instead your booking will be done in real time.
Booking reward flights and upgrades
As well as being able to collect BA Miles easily, you'll have plenty of opportunities to redeem them. For example you can use your BA Miles to enjoy an upgrade1 to a premium cabin for just one leg of your journey. You simply decide whether it's your outward flight or your return flight.You can also cancel or change any reward flights or upgrades you've booked up to 24 hours before the departure of your first outbound flight. So if your plans change, there's no need to worry – your BA Miles will be credited back to your account, ready for you to use at another time.
And if you would like to take a reward flight using your BA Miles but don't have enough in your account, you can now book using part BA Miles and part cash . You can even purchase6 additional BA Miles too. What's more, all these options are available to you online.

Claim missing BA Miles
Another advantage of collecting BA Miles is that, should you find you didn't include your Executive Club membership number at the time of booking you can still claim your BA Miles7 up to six months later. And you can do it online by quoting your ticket numbers, flight numbers and dates of travel - it's really easy.
