[ Transportation ]
Valid on all services operated by BA

BA flights includes those operated by:
Comair / Zambian Airways / Regional Air (including those operated by Air Kenya)


[ Sales ]
Valid only for sale outside Africa and can only be sold in conjunction with intercontinental travel to Africa prior to departure from the country of origin.

*Passengers may be required to present proof of residence and international ticket at check-in for each flight.
Applicable to Industry discount international fares /Travel agent fares - passengers must have proof of industry/travel agent employment.

Please note that not all countries are operated to by the oneworld carriers.



[ Application ]
Return/Circle trip/Single open jaw/Double open jaw economy travel on BA operated direct flights and through plane services.

Travel on the last international sector in to Africa and the first international sector from Africa must be operated and marketed, or marketed by AA/AY/BA/CX/EI/IB/LA/QF.

Open jaws are permitted between start and finish points and intermediate surface sectors are permitted.


[ Capacity limitations ]
The carrier shall limit the number of passengers carried on any one flight at fares governed by this rule and such fares will not necessarily be available on all flights . The number of seats which the carrier shall make available on a given flight will be determined by the carriers best judgement.


[ Eligibility ]
Only available to the residents of the country of sale in conjunction with return travel to Africa (as defined above) on scheduled services. Proof of residence may be required at time of purchase or at check-in.


[ Fare ]
Fares are calculated per sector as specified below and are exclusive of any taxes and passenger fees, which must be collected separately.

Journeys can be within a single zone or a combination of two or more. A minimum purchase of 2 sectors is required with no maximum limit.

In countries other than those where the fares are specified in USD, local currency fares are obtained by using the BSR at the time of ticket issue


[ Children and Infants ]
Child (2-11 years): 75% of applicable adult fares.
Infant (under 2 years, not occupying a seat): 10% of applicable adult fares.


[ Minimum/Maximum stay ]
Minimum stay: None
Maximum stay: All travel must be completed within the validity of the international ticket.


[ Stopovers ]
Permitted at ticketed points only.


[ Routings ]
Individual sectors may not be travelled more than once in each direction.
Transfers permitted at ticketed points only.


[ Construction/Combination ]
Not permitted.


[ Reservations ]
Reservations for the first sector must be made at time of purchase before departure from the country of origin.
Reservations for open sectors may be made at any time prior to the day of departure on the sector concerned.
Waitlisting or on the day standby is not permitted.
Booking Class:L


[ Ticketing ]
Tickets for the entire journey must be purchased/issued in the country of origin of intercontinental travel, and prior to departure. A separate ticket must be issued and cross referenced to the intercontinental ticket.


[ Cancellations / Refunds ]
Before departure from the inter-continental country of origin: 50% refund.
After departure from the inter-continental country of origin: No refund for first two sectors and 50% refund for sectors there after.
At any time, the journey may be upgraded to a normal Economy or business class fare without penalty. If the higher fare is subsequently cancelled. The original penalty will apply.


[ Re-booking / Re-routing ]
Reservations and Re-routing permitted at a fee of USD 40.00 per transaction provided that the changes are made prior to the date for which travel is booked. Additional sectors may be purchased if required during the re-routing transaction.

In countries other than those where the fares are specified in USD the per transaction fee is obtained by using the BSR at the time of transaction.

No other discounts are permitted.
