New Mumbai terminal (T2) opens 12 February 2014

British Airways is set to move into a brand new terminal at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on 12 February 2014. The new terminal is capable of handling 40 million passengers per year.
The new lounge facility operated by the airport is due to open late spring. In the meantime the airport will offer an interim lounge which is available to all lounge eligible customers departing from Mumbai’s Terminal 2. The lounge is open four hours prior to flight departure and is located on Level 03 at Gate 86 having passed through Central search & Departure Immigration.
Customers will receive an invitation to use the lounge facility from a British Airways staff member at check in. There will be a selection of hot and cold food options and beverages, including alcoholic beverages which will be available throughout the day.
Flight cutover information:
Last flight to arrive into the old terminal will be - BA199/11Feb (arriving 1145Hrs/12Feb)
First flight departing from the new terminal is - BA198/12Feb (departure 1350Hrs/12Feb)
All flights after the BA198/12 Feb shall depart from the new terminal (T2)

London City: More planes, more routes, more flights

British Airways is growing at London City with the introduction of three new Embraer aircraft and the launch of new services to Rotterdam and Florence announced for March 2014. This is on top of extra daily flights to Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Zurich.
From March 2014, you could be flying on British Airways to any one of our 26 international, European and UK destinations direct from the Docklands.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner now available to book

Flights onboard our new Boeing 787 aircraft are now available to book, allowing you to experience the very latest products and features on the newest addition to our fleet.
Smooth ride technology provides a calmer journey on the 787, and much larger windows give views of the horizon no matter where you are seated. Sit back and unwind with the latest in-flight entertainment system as the ambient lighting subtly changes to create the ideal atmosphere. The 787 is also quieter, lighter and more fuel efficient than current aircraft, helping us to minimise our impact on the environment as well as providing you with a more pleasurable travel experience.
Seats onboard our new 787 are now available to book for travel from 1 September, when a daily 787 service will operate between London Heathrow and Toronto. Between 15 September and 25 October we will also provide an additional three services a week between London and Toronto to fully maximise our increased operational capacity on the 787. A twice-daily service between London Heathrow and Newark is also now available to book for travel from 1 October, increasing to double daily from 27 October.

Services to Singapore and Sydney have now moved to Heathrow Terminal 5, the state of the art home of British Airways. This allows smoother, faster connections onto the rest of our network.
The terminal has one spacious, beautifully designed departures area for our customers. There are also more than 100 stores and restaurants at your disposal. If you are travelling in First, Club World or Club Europe, or if you are a oneworld Emerald or Sapphire frequent flyer, you’ll find a welcome sanctuary in the Galleries lounges, which are truly luxurious places in which to unwind. Here you can enjoy complimentary food and beverages including a selection of fine wines, wireless broadband and office facilities, and a complimentary treatment at the Elemis Travel Spa.
There is more good news for our customers on this route too. It is now served by our new 777-300ER aircraft. Not only does this aircraft have our latest First and Club World cabins but also our brand new cabin interiors in World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) and World Traveller (Economy). Both cabins have been fitted with the latest seats offering customers more space and comfort with a general sense of well being for all.
Executive Club Digital Enhancements

We have listened to Member feedback and have been busy making improvements to the ba.com experience of the Executive Club, tackling some of the areas that matter most to our customers. We have launched a new Executive Club news and offers Hub, with a fresh look and feel and enhanced functionality. In February we also unveiled our new Executive Club welcome page, the first page Members see as soon as they log in. We have improved the layout and made it much easier for Members to navigate their way to the important information they need relating to their account. We hope you like the improvements to date - there are plenty more to come in 2013.
Do you still use a PIN to log on to your Executive Club acccount?
At British Airways, safety and security have always been our top priorities. Over 70% of our customers now use a password , which is why we will soon be asking all customers still using PINs to choose a password. This will make it much harder for someone else to access your details and it will bring ba.com in line with the security of other leading websites. Your password will need to consist of at least 6 characters, with at least one letter and one number.
Make booking easier by saving your payment card details
You can now securely save your credit and debit card details on ba.com. Your details will be stored in our secure vault, so you can be sure they will be safe, and it means you won't need to send them over the internet every time you book with us. This also saves you time as you'll have one less thing to do - just choose the card you've already saved.
OpenSkies adds new service from New York JFK to Paris Orly

OpenSkies, the transatlantic subsidiary of British Airways, has added a new daily route between New York JFK and Paris Orly in addition to its existing two daily flights from New York Newark to Paris Orly. Customers have a choice of three cabins: Biz Bed with a completely flat bed, Prem Plus offering large seats in a 2x2 configuration, and Eco with comfortable leather seats. All customers are offered a personal iPad loaded with more than 70 hours of entertainment, including movies, TV shows and games. With just over 100 passengers on each flight, customers experience premium, personalized attention in each cabin, all at great fares.
