New lounge now open at Zurich Airport

You can now enjoy a more relaxing, more comfortable and altogether more contemporary experience when you visit the new Business Class Lounge for oneworld customers at Zurich airport. We have been closely involved with the design of this new lounge, which is located in the heart of the terminal with easy access to the extensive shopping area and Terminal B departure gates. You can savour an extensive range of tasty snacks and delicious food in the restaurant and fine wines in the Wine Corner. Should you need to catch up on any work you can make the most of the latest-generation Sony tablets with complimentary Wi-Fi connection, while three large walls of art create an inspiring atmosphere. The Business Class Lounge for oneworld customers welcomes British Airways Gold and Silver Executive Club Members, Emerald and Sapphire members of any oneworld airline frequent flyer programme and eligible customers.

Dusseldorf and Zagreb flights move to T5

When you fly to London from Dusseldorf or Zagreb after 31 March 2013 you will be able to enjoy the superb comfort and convenience of our award-winning home at London Heathrow Terminal 5. From 31 March, flights to and from these destinations will move from Heathrow Terminal 1 and operate out of Terminal 5. This move means you will be able to enjoy quick connections to our extensive global network from Terminal 5. When departing from Terminal 5 you can also enjoy over 100 of the best shopping and dining options before boarding your flight. Eligible customers can also relax in the luxury of the Galleries lounges, the world’s largest lounge complex.

New interactive map makes using Avios easier

If you’re an Executive Club Member, you’ll know all about Avios. But have you tried our updated interactive Avios Explorer Map?

It makes it easier than ever before to find and book a reward flight.

The map is fully interactive and the filter options have been simplified, giving you an even better way of searching for reward flights and availability. Just log in and if you know where you want to go to, the map can tell you instantly how many Avios you need to get there. Or if you’re not sure, the map will show you all the destinations your Avios balance could take you to.

Then once you’ve found the flight you’re looking for, you simply click through to a flight availability calendar for a year ahead, and book.

There are also handy pricing options. So if you haven’t quite got enough Avios for the flight you want, you can use Avios & Money to supplement your Avios with cash and get the flight today.

Fast Track at Istanbul Ataturk Airport

Eligible customers can now enjoy a quicker and smoother journey through Istanbul Ataturk Airport with the introduction of Fast Track security lanes. Customers travelling in Club Europe and Executive Club Gold and Silver Members can take advantage of Fast Track security by requesting a voucher from the British Airways Check-in desk at Island G17. Customers in Club Europe can also enjoy a dedicated Fast Track channel upon arrival.

We are delighted to announce that customers can now enjoy kosher meals in the International Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 1. This new option highlights our ongoing commitment to provide the best possible journey for customers and cater for all specific dietary requirements. The British Airways International Lounge is located near Gate 5 and welcomes customers travelling in Club World and Club Europe, Executive Club Gold and Silver Members and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members.

Improved schedule and new Terminal for Larnaca flights

The introduction of our summer schedule on 31 March 2013 sees changes to flights between Larnaca and London Heathrow that will improve your journey with British Airways.
