What you can claim compensation for

Passengers affected by flight cancellations may be eligible for compensation under EU legislation.


What you need to proceed with your claim

If your flight was cancelled and you wish to proceed with a claim for compensation, you will need the following booking information:

  • Passenger names as displayed on the ticket
  • Your flight number
  • Scheduled flight departure date
  • Your booking reference

Please note you are unable to submit a claim online until 3 days after your scheduled departure time.

Compensation is not payable where passengers have been notified of the cancellation 14 days or more before the scheduled departure date of your cancelled flight or where your flight has been cancelled before 17 February 2005, the date the legislation came into effect.
