Entertaining children
TV, movies and games
On a long flight, or even a short one, children want to be entertained, and we have a number of activities designed particularly with them in mind.
On longhaul flights we offer:
- a dedicated kids' TV channel from Disney and Cartoon Network
- a selection of family blockbuster movies
- a dedicated audio pop music channel
- In our World Traveller Plus, Club World and First cabins, there is a selection of video games i.e. 'Tic-Tac-Toe', 'Noisy Farm' and 'Twin's Cafe'.
We even offer a parental lock, which lets you block programmes you don’t want your kids to see.
Paddington Bear
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the world’s favourite bear in 2008, we launched an in-flight Skyflyers’ activity pack for children.
The activity pack, which has been designed to look like Paddington’s famous and well-travelled suitcase, will be available for children between the ages of three and five. As an extra treat we will also be showing Paddington Bear programmes on-board and children will be able to print off colouring sheets and luggage labels before they travel.
