Reward Flights
You can pay for your booking either with full Avios or with Avios & Money on British Airways and on some of our partner airlines. For non-Reward Flight Saver flights the taxes, fees and charges will always need to be paid with money.
Reward Flight Saver
Reward Flight Saver gives you a better deal on shorter flights. It's available on all British Airways and Iberia routes within zones 1-3, as long as you’ve collected at least one Avios within the last 12 months.
Instead of taxes, fees and charges you pay with Avios plus a flat fee each way of £13.50/€13.50 in economy and £17/€17 in business, and we pay the taxes, fees and charges.

Domestic journeys included in the price
Domestic flights are included in the price you’re quoted. For example, if you are travelling Glasgow to London, London to Rome, the domestic flights are included in the price.
How to use the Avios Calculator
You can use the Avios calculator to get a price for British Airways and partner airlines’ flights. If both British Airways and an airline partner fly the route direct, prices will be the same and you’ll only be able to see the British Airways price.
The calculator will offer you the lowest price for your journey. The final price you pay will depend on the route you take and the airline you fly with.
Flights on British Airways
The calculator will give you a price for British Airways journeys with up to one connection. Where there is more than one connection, you will need to search for the prices per each sector and add these up to get the full price. If your connecting journey involves a domestic flight in the UK or mainland Spain, this is included in the overall price.
Flights on airline partners
The calculator will give you a price for direct flights on airline partners. For flights with connections, you will need to search the reward prices for each flight separately and add them together. If Avios & Money options are available you will be offered these at the time of booking.
You will not be able to book flights on Alaskan Airlines and Kingfisher on ba.com, but you can book these over the phone.

Journeys with flights on British Airways plus one airline partner
To calculate the price of journeys for British Airways plus up to one of our airline partners, you need to search the reward prices for each flight separately and add them together.
Booking with partner airlines
For flights with two or more oneworld partners, or British Airways plus two or more oneworld partners, use our table to find out what you need to pay.
Avios prices for two or more oneworld airlines.
You will need to contact us if you have two or more connecting flights with British Airways and/or another airline, although you can make a booking with up to one connection on ba.com.
Travel Classes may vary on airline partners
You may be quoted a price for a travel class that is not operated by all partner airlines on longer journeys, such as Premium Economy. You will be able to see the relevant travel classes when you make a booking.
