As an Executive Club member you will earn BA Miles on qualifying flights whenever you fly with us or our oneworld® alliance partners.
The amount you collect depends on the distance you fly, the cabin you fly in, the type of ticket you hold and your Executive Club Tier.
On flexible economy fares you will receive 1 BA Mile for every mile flown.
On discounted economy fares (non-flexible ticket), you will earn 25% of the actual miles flown.
If you fly less than 500 miles, one way, on a flexible economy fare, you will earn a minimum of 500 BA Miles. On a discounted economy fare, this would be a reward of 125 BA Miles
Once you have collected enough BA Miles you can then start spending these on flights with British Airways and our partner airlines. You can book a flight, upgrade a booking or book and upgrade a flight using BA Miles or Part Cash Part Miles.
Our cabin bonus lets you earn even more BA Miles whenever you fly in one of our premium cabins (World Traveller Plus, or higher):
| Cabin | BA Miles bonus |
|---|---|
| World Traveller Plus | 25% |
| Club Europe/Club World | 50% |
| First | 100% |
As a Silver and Gold Executive Club member you collect additional BA Miles whenever you fly. These tier bonuses are collected on top of the basic mileage rate.
| Tier | Tier Bonus |
|---|---|
| Silver | 25% |
| Gold | 50% |
Both the tier bonus and the cabin bonus are calculated from the actual miles you fly and should be added together to calculate the total miles you will earn.
As a member of the Executive Club, you can collect BA Miles with the following oneworld partner airlines: American Airlines*, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malev, Mexicana, Qantas and Royal Jordanian.
BA Miles collected with partner airlines take slightly longer to process than those collected on British Airways flights. However, they should still appear on your account within 28 days of travel.
*British Airways Executive Club members will not collect BA Miles or Tier Points on American Airlines operated transatlantic flights, unless the flight is booked using a BA flight number.
Miles cannot be spent on American Airlines operated transatlantic flights, irrespective of the flight number.
You can also collect BA Miles with certain other partner airlines: Aer Lingus, Alaska Airlines and Caribbean Airlines.
