How membership works

The Executive Club is British Airways' frequent flyer programme. It is designed to recognise and reward you - with the aim of making your travel even more enjoyable.

BA Miles

As an Executive Club member you will earn BA Miles on qualifying flights whenever you fly with us or our oneworld® alliance partners.

The amount you earn depends on the distance you fly, the cabin you fly in, the type of ticket you hold and your Executive Club tier.

You can also collect BA Miles with our worldwide network of hotel, car rental, financial and shopping partners even when you're not flying.

Tier Points

There are three tier levels of the Executive Club: Blue, Silver and Gold. Tier Points allow you to move up through the different levels, enjoying the additional benefits each tier brings.

We will keep you up to date on how many Tier Points you need to maintain your tier, or progress to the next one.

Tier Points

 Tier Requirement
 Blue 0
Silver entry/renewal 400 Tier Points (including 4 BA flights )
 or 50 flights with BA
Gold entry/renewal 800 Tier Points (including 4 BA flights )

Executive Club members earn Tier Points on all eligible flights, with 25% of the standard Tier Points being awarded when travelling on a reduced economy fare and full Tier Points being awarded on all other fares.

Each membership year, you must earn the minimum number of Tier Points and take at least 4 BA flights to achieve or retain Silver or Gold status. Tier Points are reset to 0 once you have been upgraded to the Silver or Gold tier or at the end of your membership year.
