Silver membership

Silver member's card.

Silver membership gives you all the benefits of Blue membership and more.

Collect more BA Miles with the Silver tier bonus

As an Executive Club Silver member, you'll earn a bonus of 25% BA Miles whenever you fly with British Airways or Qantas.

This is in addition to the cabin bonus you earn when travelling in World Traveller Plus, Club Europe, Club World and First.

So, instead of 1 BA Mile for every mile flown, you will receive 1.25 BA Miles*, enabling you to earn reward flights faster.

*When you fly on a discounted economy fare, you'll earn 25% of the actual miles you fly, plus your tier bonus.

Enjoy worldwide priority check in and boarding

As well as having priority over Blue members on reservation waitlists and airport standby lists, you can avoid the queues at check in by using Club World, Club Europe or the equivalent oneworld® Business Class desks, no matter what class of ticket you have.

At departure you can board at your convenience regardless of the class you are travelling in that day.

Take advantage of an additional baggage allowance

You are entitled as a Silver member to receive a two piece free checked baggage allowance on all flights when you travel in World Traveller, Euro Traveller and UK Domestic.

²Lounge access is not available on Alaska Airlines - except when members are flying on a oneworld partner codeshare flight with a British Airways flight number prefix.

Benefit from Reservation Assurance

Reservation Assurance provides an economy seat on your chosen British Airways flight, even when the flight is full.

To benefit you will need to:

  • book a full fare economy ticket more than 24 hours before the flight
  • check in at least one hour before departure

Note: Reservation Assurance cannot be guaranteed, as circumstances beyond our control may mean we are unable to offer this service. Your full fare economy ticket needs to be booked in the following classes: Y, B, H and C (on UK Domestic routes). Unfortunately we are unable to extend this service to your travelling companions, or ensure you are allocated a particular seat.
