By earning On Business Points, you can make your travel budget go further. If you or your colleagues are members of the Executive Club, you will also earn Avios for yourselves.
You and your colleagues will also benefit from a smooth travel experience and attentive service on British Airways, or one of our partner airlines.
How points are awarded
British Airways destinations have been divided up into regional zones, with each zone earning different amounts of On Business Points. Points are also awarded according to the destination flown to and the cabin booked.
Unused points expire at the end of the third calendar year after the date of issue. For example, any points issued between 1 January and 31 December 2011 will automatically expire on 31 December 2014.
How to earn points
You can earn points on any qualifying flight1 irrespective of where the ticket is purchased.
To earn points, simply enter your On Business membership number when you make a booking, or give it to one of your nominated travel agents.
You can still earn points for a flight if you forget to insert your number when you book it. Simply go to the ‘my booking’ section of Manage My Booking and enter your On Business number.
You can also retrospectively claim points for a flight through your online account up to 4 months from the date of travel. Simply fill in our missing points form, entering the ticket number, passenger’s last name and date of the first flight.
Earn bonus points
You can earn bonus points if your company uses either a British Airways American Express Corporate Card or a British Airways American Express Corporate Card Plus.
- With a British Airways American Express Corporate Card, your company can earn 50% more points for every flight booked direct with British Airways and paid for with the Card.
- With a British Airways American Express Corporate Card Plus, your company can earn an additional 2,500 points per Card per year when the total spend charged to an individual Card exceeds £25,000. This is in addition to the 50% bonus points company earns for just using the Card to pay directly for British Airways flights.
1 Points can be earned on eligible British Airways published fares. Points can also be earned on selected flights with eligible partner airlines, when booked with a BA flight number.
Points are not earned on corporate or marine dealt fares. Fares booked on oneworld™ alliances flights will not earn On Business points, except on selected American Airlines, Comair, SUN-AIR, Iberia, Japan Airlines and Qantas flights when booked with a BA flight number. Points are not earned on British Airways Executive Club reward flights or on On Business reward flights.
