By earning On Business Points, you can make your travel budget go further. Plus, if you or your colleagues are members of the British Airways Executive Club or our oneworld® partner's frequent flyer programmes you can also benefit personally.
You and your colleagues will also benefit from a smooth travel experience and attentive service on British Airways, or one of our partner airlines.
British Airways destinations have been divided up into regional zones, with each zone earning different amounts of On Business Points. Points are also awarded according to the destination flown to and the cabin booked.
Unused points expire at the end of the third calendar year after the date of issue. For example, any points issued between 1 January and 31 December 2011 will automatically expire on 31 December 2014.
You can earn points on any qualifying flight1 irrespective of where the ticket is purchased.
To earn points, simply enter your On Business membership number when you make a booking, or give it to one of your nominated travel agents (see below).
You can still earn points for a flight if you forget to insert your number when you book it. Simply go to the ‘My Booking’ section of Manage My Booking and enter your On Business number.
You can also retrospectively claim points for a flight through your online account up to 4 months from the date of travel. Simply fill in our missing points form, entering the ticket number, passenger’s last name and date of the first flight.
1 Points can be earned on eligible British Airways published fares. Points can also be earned on selected flights with eligible partner airlines, when booked with a BA flight number.
Points are not earned on corporate or marine dealt fares. Fares booked on oneworld™ alliances flights will not earn On Business points, except on selected American Airlines, Comair, SUN-AIR, Iberia, and Qantas flights when booked with a BA flight number. Points are not earned on British Airways Executive Club reward flights or on On Business reward flights.
