How to transfer between terminals

Skylink train

The inter-terminal train service is the Skylink - a multi-directional train system serving all terminals and all airlines at DFW. Skylink stations are located at the following gates:

  • Terminal A: between A13 and A16 and between A28 and A33
  • Terminal B: between B10 and B12 and between B28 and B31
  • Terminal C: between C8 and C12 and between C27 and C31
  • Terminal D: between D11 and D21 and between D24 and D36
  • Terminal E: between E8 and E12 and between E31 and E32
    (Terminal E is adjacent to Terminal C, but is not served by any oneworld airlines)

 

Free shuttle van service

There is also a free shuttle van service directly between terminals.
There are two pick-up areas per terminal on the upper level terminal at kerbside, near the baggage claim areas.
Blue and green shuttle vans run every 10 minutes between 06:00 - 22:00 daily.
Pick-up locations are:

  • Terminal A: Between A19 and A21 and between A33 and A35
  • Terminal B: At B9 and between B23 and B25
  • Terminal C: Between C10 and C12 and at C31
  • Terminal D: At D17 and at D24
  • Terminal E: Between E6 and E7 and between E16 and E17
    (not served by oneworld airlines)

How long does it take to transfer between terminals?

The Skylink system has an average journey times of 5 minutes, with a maximum journey time of 9 minutes between the farthest distances.
Trains depart on average every two minutes.

  • Location details: Terminal D, airside near Gate D21
  • Opening hours: Daily 15:00 - 21:00


Admirals Club (American Airlines)

  • Location details: Terminal A, third floor across from Gate 24

  • Opening hours:
    Sunday - Friday 05:30 - 21:30
    Saturday 05:30 - 22:00

Admirals Club (American Airlines)

  • Location details: Terminal B, first floor of between Gates 5 and 6
  • Opening hours:
    Monday - Friday 06:00 - 21:00
    Saturday 07:00 - 19:00
    Sunday 08:00 - 21:00

 

Admirals Club (American Airlines)

  • Location details: Terminal C, third floor across from Gates 19 and 20
  • Opening hours:
    Sunday - Friday 05:30 - 21:30
    Saturday 05:30 - 22:00

Admirals Club (American Airlines)

  • Location details: Terminal D, fourth level across from Gate 23, inside security
  • Opening hours: Daily 05:30 - 22:00

Note:
At peak periods, access to certain lounges may be restricted due to capacity constraints. Access is available on the day of departure when the next onward flight is with a oneworld member airline. Access may not apply at a limited number of third party lounges.

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Dallas, and 18 miles (29 km) northeast of Fort Worth.

Trains depart from CentrePort/DFW Station at the airport to Dallas Union Station.
The journey time is 30 minutes.
There are no trains on Sundays.

Taxis

Taxis are available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D. The journey time to and from downtown areas of Dallas is 30 - 60 minutes depending on traffic.
