Our community and conservation work

At British Airways, we support over 130 Community and Conservation organisations by offering them free flights, by allowing members to carry excess baggage, by helping them transport cargo and also through donating blankets to orphanages, hospices, old people's homes and even animal sanctuaries.

Change for Good

Our award winning Change for Good programme, in partnership with UNICEF, has raised more than £25m since 1994 and has changed the lives of thousands of children around the world.

Support for employees in their charity work

At British Airways, we believe in recognising and rewarding staff who volunteer for a community organisation or a charity in their own time. This is why we've established the British Airways Community Volunteering Awards. Over the past four years alone, we have donated £270,000 to charities through this scheme.
