Community - our work
Since 1984, British Airways has supported community and conservation projects around the world with complimentary flights, excess baggage waivers and complimentary cargo. Our support helps these projects to use their funds where they're needed most: to pay for essential equipment, to go towards education, and to support sustainable tourism which will protect the environment and be of benefit to local communities.

Our main global youth development projects
Kenya
We have refurbished and donated over 460 computers to community projects in Kenya and Pakistan. This has benefited over 4,000 children in 4 schools in the Mukuru Slum area of Nairobi.
South Africa
Over the last 5 years, we've been involved in setting up a youth activity and safer schools projects in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg.
