The Thai Children's Trust

The Thai Children's Trust formerly the Pattaya Orphanage Trust helps vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Thailand - abandoned, disabled, HIV+, tsunami survivors or street children. The charity provides a home, education and future for over 1500 children, and reaches out to thousands more through health and nutrition projects.

The charity supports two orphanages in Thailand, including one in the south for tsunami orphans; a home for street children and the associated drop-in-centre which both provide a reliable way back from a life on the streets and a safe haven for vulnerable children; three homes for HIV positive children; three projects in Pattaya which provide care, accommodation and specialised education for deaf children, blind children and young people with disabilities. The most recent project is a learning centre on the Thai/Burma border which provides a free education for 700 children, and is home to around 200 children whose parents have died or who are still inside Burma.

The objective is to give these children access to school, food and proper medical care.
