Car rental in Montreal

Silver car.

Second largest city in Canada, French speaking Montréal and the surrounding region are perfect for car rental holidays.

We advise beginning your car rental tour of the area with a trip to the Cantons de l'Est. The Eastern Townships are 50 miles east of the city on the border with New England. They offer car rental travellers the chance to see some amazing countryside full of 19th century villages settled by Loyalists. Snowmobile riding, cross-country and downhill skiing are all popular here in winter.

The nearby towns of Magog and Mont Orford are also fine choices for car rental tourists. They are a good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside. Expect some stunning scenic driving.

To the north of Montréal, car rental will take you to The Laurentians, one of the most ancient mountain ranges in the world. This region is famed for its skiing in winter, and for cycling and hiking in summer. You'll need car rental to drive around the area once you're there too.

Around 80 miles car rental drive from Quebec's Capital, you'll also find Mont Tremblant Park. Home to the 935 metre high Mont Tremblant - the largest mountain in the area - the park is also a major winter sports centre.

No car rental tour of the Montréal Region would be complete without a trip to fashionable Mont St-Sauveur, only 37 miles from the city centre and famous for its popular night time skiing.

Our car rental is Fully Inclusive and your rental price includes all coverage and taxes required for car rental in North America. Or upgrade to Alamo Gold, which includes everything Fully Inclusive car rental does, but you'll also receive a tank of petrol and up to three additional drivers are covered.
