Another city you can visit by car rental is historic Namur. Only 45 km south east of Brussels, Namur is a scenic town with an impressive hilltop citadel. Once you reach it by car rental, you can then explore its pedestrian-friendly streets on foot.
With a few pretty churches and a variety of shops, it's easy for car rental travellers to spend a day here. It has a handful of fascinating museums, like the Tresordu Prieured'Oignies, which houses a beautiful collection of gold and silver. A university town, Namur also has a vibrant and buzzing nightlife.
