Capital of the United Arab Emirates and known as the 'Garden City of the Gulf', Abu Dhabi is a vibrant and bustling city with a great culture. With a surrounding desert region of beaches, lagoons and nature reserves, a car rental tour of the area is a must.

When you've finished shopping in the souks of the city centre, we recommend using car rental to drive out to the green oasis city of Al Ain. Set amongst rolling sand dunes and with a backdrop of the majestic Jebel Hafit Mountains, this historic city was once an important caravan stop on the trade routes across Arabia. The Abu Dhabi Region is also famed for its golf. For enthusiasts, the Abu Dhabi Airport Golf Club is perhaps the best place to start. Just 500 metres from the airport terminal, this 18-hole golf course can be played before you arrange your car rental and start exploring the wider area.
