Or drive towards Table Mountain to continue sightseeing by cable car. Robben Island tells all about the Apartheid regime and Camps Bay about the city's wealth with its mega villas, flashy crowd and upmarket bars. Here you can also watch the sun sinking into the Atlantic Ocean as the beautiful crowd sink into their comfortable chairs.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens introduce you to indigenous flora and Big Bay to some of the world's best surfing waves.
If you've already experienced Table Mountain by cable car, climb it via Platteklip Gorge on your next visit. Or try a night walk to nearby Lion's Head. Return in winter for strolls on deserted beaches, whale watching and exquisite blooms at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Find new exhibitions at the South African National Gallery or see the gold collection at the Gold of Africa Museum. Don't forget your surfboard to catch that perfect wave each time you visit.
