Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Experience world-class coasters, like Gwazi®, Kumba® Montu® and SheiKra. The first stop of your day at Busch Gardens has to be the heart-lurching SheiKra. You'll experience a ride which carries you 200 feet into the air in a floorless car, then hurtles you back to earth at an angle of 90 degrees.
After you've recovered, check out Kumba, which is among the world's largest and fastest roller coasters, plunging and spiraling guests through hair-raising manoeuvres during its three-minute, 60-mph journey.
Cool down after all that excitement on the Congo River Rapids®, which drenches guests during an exciting whitewater journey re-creating the treacherous elements of Africa's Congo River. If you prefer something on dry land, don't miss KaTonga®. This Broadway calibre show tells of life in the jungle, through dance and fascinating puppetry.
Edge of Africa® offers the most intense safari experience outside of Africa. While trekking through a remote safari encampment guests encounter lions, hippos and hyenas - closer than ever before. And for even more up-close animal encounters, you can also take a leisurely walk through Myombe Reserve® and observe the playful chimps and majestic lowland gorillas in their habitat.
For little ones, Land of the Dragons® is the kids play area, featuring one of kind slides, a gentle waterfall, wonderful rides and even friendly dragons!
Jungala
Jungala is brand new to Busch Gardens for 2008. Explore this exotic land where you’ll discover endangered animals, explore a village hidden deep in the jungle, plus two signature rides and more. You can experience the different layers of jungle life through the 3-storey tree habitat. Watch orangutans at rest or play from one of the treetop observation platforms, or see Bengal tigers swimming in their temperature controlled plunge pool through underwater windows. For a view above the treetops, take a ride on the zip line experience Jungle Flyers, or shoot above a towering waterfall.
