British Airways prides itself on first class hospitality. To ensure that we live up to the high standards our customers expect, we’ve continued to develop our ’Height Cuisine‘ initiative, working closely with chefs, suppliers, nutritionists and cabin crew from around the globe to produce delicious dishes that work at altitude.
We will be showcasing our 2013 summer menus, developed by our exceptional team of chefs from London and will be serving up some of our regional dishes served on selected routes.
Taste of London provides the perfect opportunity to learn about the challenges involved in creating a British Airways in-flight menu, from selecting suppliers of the highest quality to sourcing the finest ingredients that work at 30,000 feet. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in various masterclasses showcasing our regional delicacies paired with the fine wines and Champagne that are served onboard. It’s also a great chance for you to tell us what you thought of your last flight!
If you are relaxing in the British Airways Garden, be sure to look out for our afternoon tea that will be served by our Ambassadors at 15:00 and 17:30 each day. This will be your chance to taste the special blend of Twinings tea that is exclusive to British Airways in-flight service, adapted to work with your tastebuds in the air.
We will also be giving you the opportunity to win a pair of flight tickets daily – to try our in-flight menus yourself - 30,000 feet in the air! only at Taste of London.
The Executive Club Lounge is inspired by the luxurious and elegant ambience of our lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 5, and will be an exclusive retreat for all British Airways Executive Club Gold and Silver card holders. There are areas dedicated to masterclasses and food tastings and fantastic canapés and drinks will be served throughout the course of the show. Don’t forget to bring your Executive Club card with you on the day.
