Products and Services

At British Airways we continuously strive to provide our passengers with the best products and services to ensure a pleasant travel experience.

Club (business class)

Customers will enjoy a premium experience, personalised service with superior catering and a choice of award winning wines. Club customers are entitled to lounge access and valet parking as well as the use of dedicated check-in desks. Checked baggage for Club customers is offloaded first.

Traveller (economy class)

Customers will have the benefit of more legroom than any other domestic carrier. When flying Traveller, customers will be treated to those little extras such as complimentary English and Afrikaans newspapers and Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky.

Fly Thru

Fly Thru includes telephone and online check-in for domestic and regional, valet parking, access to the Terraces Lounges and LOFO (Last On First Out) baggage facility.

Telephone / online check-in

With telephone check-in, customers may call at least 40 minutes prior to departure and collect their boarding pass from the check-in counters before making their way through security. For all domestic departures, passengers may call +27 11 971 8228 at least 1 hour prior to departure when checking in baggage or 40 minutes prior to departure when travelling with hand baggage only. Alternatively, customers can check-in online 24 hours before their flight. Another benefit of checking in online is that customers can be able to reserve or change their seats. As with the telephone check-in system, boarding passes can be  collected from the check-in counter prior to departure. When travelling with check-in baggage in at least 45 minutes prior to departure at the Fast Bag Drop counter. Please keep in mind that flights close 30 minutes prior to departure.

Valet parking

British Airways offers its Club customers, Gold and Silver Executive Club members 24 hours free valet parking at Johannesburg and Cape Town airports. Customers need to call either Executive Carport or Katanga in advance to make a reservation:

Terraces Lounges

Our Terraces Lounges are situated in the domestic departure terminals at Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban airports. Club customers and Executive Club members are entitled to use our Terraces Lounges to relax and experience the unique facilities offered, including refreshments and a light snack, access to the internet and shower facilities.

LOFO

The LOFO baggage facility means that there is no waiting at the baggage carousel. LOFO is for customers travelling with an overnight  suitcase as it enables them to hand it to a cabin-crew member before embarking the aircraft. On departure from the aircraft, travellers are able to collect their luggage at the foot of the stairs. The LOFO service is available on all domestic and regional routes.

 RegionalReturn flights from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Harare, Windhoek and Mauritius.
 International By virture of our franchise agreement with British Airways and as a member of the oneworldTM alliance, we offer seamless connections ot the British Airways international route network.
