Treat yourself to an upgrade to Club Europe at a special low price on European flights from Gatwick from only an additional £59 one-way*. Select 'Economy' when choosing your destination and dates, and then click on the upgrade link in the Flight Options section of the fare quote page. If you have already booked a flight which you wish to upgrade, you can do this through the Manage My Booking section on ba.com.
See below for details of how we take care of you in Club Europe, from fast tracking through the airport to relaxing in the lounge before your flight and enjoying more space onboard and our upgraded meal service.
Save time by checking in online at ba.com. Choose your seat and print your online boarding pass before you've even arrived at the airport. If you have luggage to check in, simply drop it at our Fast Bag Drop desk in Zone D where we'll tag it and send it to the aircraft.
Alternatively, if you don't have access to online check-in, the fastest option is to use our check-in kiosks with the support of our helpful ground staff. Simply check in and print your boarding pass in under a minute, then drop any luggage at the Fast Bag Drop desk in Zone D and head to security.
If you're travelling for pleasure, our lounges invite you to relax and start your holiday before you even get to your destination. Sit back and sip on a cappuccino or enjoy a glass of fresh juice in a quiet, peaceful environment. Club Europe will ensure you get your holiday off to the right start.
And if you're feeling hungry, head to the larder for complimentary light snacks, or unwind with a drink from the wine bar after a long day.
Choose from a great selection of complimentary food and drink, perfectly suited to the time of day and length of your flight.
If you’re flying before 10:00, freshen up with a hot towel and then enjoy a full English breakfast with a selection of warm breads, pastries and fruit juices. A Continental breakfast option is also available on all flights excluding Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Jersey and Luxembourg.
*Including all taxes, on top of any return Economy fare you are booking or have already booked.
Upgrades are one–way, from Euro Traveller to Club Europe, and are offered on a first come first served basis, subject to availability and capacity control and in certain periods there may be no flight availability. Seats available for this promotion on each flight are limited and may be fully booked during peak periods. The Upgrade offer does not apply to travel to/from London Heathrow (LHR). Upgrades may not be available on all flights. BA accepts no liability for any inability to take up the offer if upgrade seats in the Club Europe cabin are not available on a given date within the promotional period even though seats may still be available at a different fare or booking class in the same cabin. Upgrade price quoted excludes flights to Venice, Pisa, Naples, Dublin and Jersey.
A Qualifying Flight is a one–way flight flown on services operated by BA (but not on flights operated wholly or partly by its franchisees/codeshare partners/oneworld Alliance members). This offer cannot be used in conjunction with Staff Travel rebate bookings (although Hotlines will be eligible). Members of BA’s Executive Club will earn BA Miles and Tier Points for the upgrade. For each non-infant passenger who purchases an upgrade, one infant on the same booking may upgrade for 10% of the non–infant upgrade price. Travellers may participate in this promotion each time that they book a Qualifying Flight. Travellers who change their travel arrangements after the date of booking will not be eligible for this promotion unless their revised travel arrangements also constitute a Qualifying Flight: accordingly they will be asked to travel in the class they booked and if they wish to travel in the upgraded class they will be required to pay the normal upgrade fare applicable in accordance with BA's standard fare rules. No stop–overs are allowed. Domestic connections, transfers and other add-ons are not included in the promotion. Upgrades are not transferable and no cash or credit alternatives will be offered.
In case of a flight cancellation, if the Traveller is re–booked on another carrier, the upgrade fee will be refunded and the Traveller will be booked in the cabin class as purchased on their original ticket. If the Traveller is re–booked on BA, BA will attempt to accommodate the passenger in Club Europe provided it is available. If Club Europe is not available the upgrade fee will be refunded and the Traveller will be seated in the cabin class as purchased on their original ticket. If a refund of the original purchased ticket is applicable, the refund will be in accordance with the fare rules applicable at time of original purchase. This promotion is only available on routes offering Club Europe cabins. If the aircraft has to be substituted for one which does not have a Club Europe cabin, Travellers will be seated in the cabin class as purchased on their original ticket.
All passengers are carried by BA in accordance with its General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage (copies available on ba.com, at “Privacy and Legal”) and its Notice and Conditions of Contract as stated on each ticket or itinerary as provided. BA reserves the right to cancel or amend any or all of the terms and conditions of this promotion, without notice, in the event of a major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event outside the reasonable control of BA. This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions.
