Sitting - or sleeping comfortably
The award-winning Club World flat bed, patented worldwide by British Airways, is the result of extensive consultation and ergonomics testing. This has resulted in a fully flexible seat that can be easily adjusted to suit your preferred position – whether you want to work, eat, relax or sleep.
Useful features include a moveable foot stool, a laptop port in the armrest, convenient storage for necessary items like glasses, and a moveable headrest to give your neck added support.
When you want to sleep, there's no need to get up. Simply press a button to transform your chair into a very generous fully flat 72" bed. In addition, soft blankets and plump pillows help you settle in for a restful night's sleep.
With over 200 calm and peaceful lounges across the globe, we have created dedicated spaces in which you can relax and prepare for your flight. Catch up with some work using our Combiz facilities including phones and plugs for your laptop; enjoy an aromatherapy massage or hydrotherapy shower at the Molton Brown Travel Spa at London Heathrow and New York JFK; or simply take some time out with a glass of fresh juice or a light snack.
Once onboard, relax with a drink before your meal. The inflight menu, developed in conjunction with our Culinary Council of celebrity chefs, offers a range of exquisite cuisine, including carefully balanced options to cater for different dietary needs. If you feel like a snack between meals, our choices include gourmet sandwiches, ice cream and fruit.
Over 18 channels of entertainment are provided showing the latest films and TV programmes, as well as 16 audio channels, including a well being channel.
Discreet service from the cabin crew keeps trolley movements - and therefore noise - to a minimum throughout the flight. A complimentary inflight pack provides essentials that you may need during the flight, but if you need anything else the crew are on hand at the touch of a button.
On board, the Club World cabin is a relaxing lounge, designed to provide a haven from the stresses of everyday life as you travel. The cabin is spacious and calm, enabling you to work or relax in peace.
