American legend Ernest Hemingway comes to life at the bizarre but interesting Annual Hemingway Days Festival in Key West. There are several parties and events, including Sloppy Joe's Annual Papa Look-Alike Contest.

The lookalike entrants also participate in arm-wrestling and a Key Lime pie-eating contest. Other events include: a marlin fishing contest; a unique take on a Hemingway favourite, the Running of the Bulls; a Caribbean Street fair and a Twilight Party.

Hemingway's granddaughter presents a monetary prize to the best short stories entered in the Lorain Hemingway Short Story Competition.
