The Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga (CAC) is a gallery space dedicated to contemporary art trends of the 20th and 21st century. Inaugurated in 2003, it houses a permanent collection and a constantly evolving programme of temporary exhibitions.
Around four fifths of the space at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga is dedicated to temporary exhibitions, meaning the centre is constantly showcasing the latest ideas and developments in contemporary art. The permanent collection features pieces from both Spanish and international artists, such as A Periodic Table of the Elements (Curved) by Damien Hirst, various sculpture by Juan Muñoz and photography by Olafur Eliasson.
