Kuwait - Event

The Scientific Center in Kuwait is the largest aquarium and research body in the Middle East, set up to raise awareness of water conservation through knowledge and fun.

Focusing on the natural habitats of the sea, the desert and the coastal edge of the Arabian Peninsula, the complex houses creatures, plants and marine life. The main aquarium is the most dramatic, containing sharks and rays of the coral reefs and featuring scheduled public feedings along with the "dive with sharks" programme.

Other areas include the Discovery Place, where exhibits and children activities are held, a huge IMAX film theatre that shows daily educational videos, and a display of historic dhows around the Dhow Harbor area.
