Photo Lou Beaumont, courtesy of Sculpture by the SeaThe brainchild of David Handley, the first al fresco exhibition was so successful (with 25,000 visitors) that, in cahoots with Sydney's Olympic organising committee, 1998 saw sculptures in place at five sites across the country - Darwin, Noosa, Albany, Bondi and the Tasman Peninsula. The festival website has an impressive gallery of previous sculptures.

Please note that during the exhibition the event organisers are located in a temporary office at the back of Marks Park on the corner of Kenneth Street and Marks Lane.
