A production of The Nutcracker has become a winter tradition at Stockholm's Royal Opera House. This performance combines the magic of Tchaikovsky's classic ballet with the popular Swedish children's story of Petter and Lotta, by Elsa Beskow.

The main characters are two orphans who live with three old ladies and are enjoying Christmas Eve before being brought into the original ballet's world, meeting the King of the Rats.

A magical performance, this adaptation is a must-see for all lovers of ballet and classical music.

Performances are not held every day; please visit the venue website for up-to-date information.
