The traditional Salzburg Christmas Market turns Cathedral Square and Residence Square into veritable winter wonderlands. Shoppers can pick up those last-minute Christmas gifts while being entertained by street musicians and plays.
Popular items to take home with you include traditional gingerbread, wooden toys and elegant Christmas decorations. If you're planning on a long day's shopping then there is also hot food and mulled wine to keep you going.
